Work
AM I GUARANTEED WORK?
No. In this industry the client has the right to select the talent that best suits the job. Agents can suggest whom they feel might be the best selection for a specific job; however, the client makes the final selection.
Exclusivity
DO I HAVE TO BE EXCLUSIVE WITH SULFUR?
WHY?
Sulfur does NOT typically participate in freelance agreements with its talent. As a boutique agency, we pride ourselves on personalized attention, individual business counseling, and on the overall building and shaping of our talent. Our talent do not get lost in the shuffle. As reflected in many of our successes, we strongly believe our model of exclusive representation makes a difference in our talent’s opportunities. In an industry plagued with an over saturation of illegitimate representation avenues, scams, etc., we work very hard to earn the esteem of our talent and the brands who partner with us. For those who have tried freelancing or non-exclusivity and are looking for a change, at Sulfur, we offer a commitment to your growth and offer opportunities that are specifically shaped around your particular goals.
Note: On a case by case basis, we may represent talent exclusively in one medium or area such as exclusive representation for all digital and social media, while another agency handles a completely separate area such as TV commercial representation.
Other Agencies?
IF SULFUR IS FULL SERVICE, CAN I BE REPRESENTED BY ANOTHER AGENCY FOR TV/FILM?
Yes, representation in non-digital, non-social media, channels (TV/Film/Art Exhibition/etc) can be split.
Though it is NOT advisable to split representation fields as keeping your schedule, brand image, and pitch under one house will make for the easiest and most productive representation. We do offer the ability to participate in opportunities outside of Sulfur, as long as it’s not through another agency as we do not believe it's the best use of our time or resources for you to compete with yourself through more than one agency. However, if you have a direct deal opportunity (direct to you), we only take half the normal fees.
IS THERE A FEE?

NO, there are no fees to be represented by The Sulfur Group. We only make a commission / fee when a deal is closed for your work.
DO YOU MANAGE ALL MY DEALS?
In General, yes we will manage all your deals. However, we set a minimum floor (baseline) of deal value in order for us to manage and dedicate resources to it which is about $5,000 (USD). Establishing a minimum deal value is good for us and you as it sets the tone for brands knowing your value and making the efforts worthwhile.
